More than 25 years experience in international managing positions in the energy sector.

My main business areas are B2B and B2C energy retailing, development of generation capacity and regulatory advocacy. Clients are large multinationals and medium size companies as well as investors. I have been responsible of delivering assignments and managing business in Spain, Portugal, Germany, the UK and Italy, with sales revenues up to EUR 175 Mio and staff up to 125 employees.

I started in 1996 as Consultant at NERA and afterwards and during 13 years I led the Regulatory and Public Affairs of major energy firms such as ENRON, DUKE, CENTRICA and ENERGYA in several European markets. Before I returned to consulting in 2017 with own project SAMEBOAT, I acted as CEO and Managing Director of NEXUS ENERGIE for 5 years. Currently, I work with large multinational corporations and medium size energy suppliers, investors, other consulting firms and legal counsels.

As founder and vice President during 12 years of the Spanish Association of Independent Energy Suppliers (ACIE), I successfully advocated for fair competition conditions in the Spanish energy market.

I hold a Degree in Economics by the Universidad Autónoma (Madrid), a MA and PhD in Economics by the European University Institute (Florence) and an Executive MBA by the Instituto de Empresa (Madrid).

I am business proficient in Spanish, English, Italian and German.

 I have a working experience in the UK, Italy, Germany and Spain.
